Review Your Scene

Here's a review of our CD that I just stumbled across:

ANGLEWORM-Ruin Your Scene (Triumph of Life, CD)
It’s town vs. gown! These kids are from New Haven and not going to take any more shit from those Yale assholes. Punk, ska and reggae—or is it a punkish take on ska and reggae? Something like that. An anti-authoritarian streak in the lyrics and a desire to escape their surroundings. Who can blame ‘em? I’d go nuts if I lived in Connecticut, too. In any case, while the words express anger, the music comes up lacking in that department as they seem happier operating in a more laid back groove than go-for-the-throat punk burn.
